Wolper Jewish Hospital has one of the highest nurse to patient ratios in Australia, offering 54 spacious air-conditioned private rooms with windows that open to fresh air, modern ensuites and in-room services. The Hospital has built a reputation for outstanding medical care and their modern interiors provide a caring, peaceful atmosphere.
With recent updates to the commercial kitchen they needed a modern flooring and walling solution to match the rest of the Hospital's standards.
Willobee Floor Service Sales and Altro worked closely with the hospital to create a unique design which would be aligned to the methodology used for cooking at Wolper.
Utilising Altro coloured flooring and coordinating Altro Whiterock panels to identify the different zones for the meat kitchen, milk kitchen and neutral zones of the kitchen.
The Altro Whiterock Chameleon panels have added a splash of colour, which have been successfully utilised to write instructions and motivational quotes, using chalk markers.
Not only does the Altro solution provide all the safety, hygiene and cleanability a kitchen requires, but also a creative, unobtrusive yet universally understood “way-finding” method.
